Surf Reports
Why are surf reports important to snorkeling?
Very simple. If it’s a good day to surf in South Florida, it’s probably a bad day to snorkel. Since you snorkel on the surface, waves lead to difficult swimming conditions and churned water. So, it’s hard to hover above a reef or ledge and visibility is much worse than on a calm day.
