Snorkeling Conditions
Before going snorkeling, you should always check the following 4 conditions wherever you plan on going. Knowing this information doesn’t guarantee a safe and fun time, but can certainly help.
Checking the weather is obvious. Surf reports tell you expected wave conditions where you may be going, beach cams confirm the weather and surf reports and tidal information helps you get a feel for water clarity. If given a choice on when you will go snorkeling, high tide generally offers the clearest water.
