Photo of Hairy Blenny
This Hairy Blenny was just hanging out on the rocks. She stayed nice and still until I got too close and then bolted to the underside of the boulder. They have such personalities!
Some Type of Jellysomething
This isn’t really a Jellysomething, it’s a Sea Walnut. This isn’t the greatest picture, but thought it was unique and cool enough to post. It’s hard to get a good picture of floating objects in a choppy surf.
Picture of Parotfish
Not the best quality photo, but I found it to be very cool that this Parotfish had a smaller fish latched on and swimming around with him.
Picture of Blue Angelfish
This is the same Blue Angelfish I took a ton of pics of. I’ll most likely post some more over the next few days. I really like this guy. He was eating the algae or small creatures off of the rocks.
Scorpionfish Hiding!
I wanted to tell this guy I could see him. The colors are a bit off on this pic, but I still like the eyes and fin.
Picture of Blenny Sitting on a Big Rock!
This guy was just hanging out in the wide open on one of the big orange rocks of Red Reef Park in Boca Raton. It’s such a cool place to snorkel. I don’t see a lot of people who stop to look at these guys, but they are one of my favorites. They are full of personality and they seem to like to interact with people when approached slowly.
The Desert Under Water!
Well this really isn’t the desert under water, but it does remind me of the Four Corners region of the Western United States. There’s all types of vegetation and crevices where plants grow and creatures hang out.
Swimming with Stingray
I did the staredown with this guy and then he took off for the open seas. I followed him for a little while and then he was gone.
Bearded Fireworm
This guy was cruising around on the rocks. They move like a centipede, but much slower.
